Bio Istanbul Magazine

about.

Bio Istanbul is a corporate magazine project focused on art, design, architecture, fashion, and contemporary culture. The publication was created to present cultural content through a refined and visually engaging editorial experience.

I developed the magazine’s visual language, including its layout system, typography, and overall art direction. The design approach combines a minimal grid structure with strong visual compositions, allowing imagery and content to coexist in a balanced and sophisticated way.

Particular attention was given to rhythm, white space, and typographic hierarchy in order to create a clean reading experience while maintaining a contemporary editorial aesthetic. Large-scale imagery, asymmetrical layouts, and carefully structured text blocks were used to strengthen the magazine’s modern and design-oriented identity.

The result is an editorial system that feels both cultural and architectural — clear, elegant, and visually expressive.
